Columbia University is home to a design and fabrication space known as the "Makerspace." Here, I volunteer time as one of a handful of superusers responsible for maintaining the space and training new users.
I am proficient for running and repairing the following machines: 3D Printer, Laser Cutter, Waterjet Cutter, Soldering Iron, Power Supply, and Oscilloscope, CNC Mill, and CNC Lathe.
I also work as a Teaching Assistant for a course known as "Art of Engineering." This course is a required cornerstone of every engineer at Columbia where students design and build their first project. My experience and Makerspace training allows students to create their projects out of laser cut wood, 3D printed plastic, and soldered LEDs.
